Rockingham County Radio - Special Programming Information
WLOE/WMYN began airing a series of programs honoring Veterans on April 28, as part of the long-running local talk show 'Community Accents.' Host Marilyn Swinson of Madison says "listeners will hear war stories told by those who lived them, their families and their biographers," and will feature Veterans of all wars. Guests on the premier broadcast will be Henry Lee 'Pete' Comer and Richard D. 'Dick' Pennstrom. The thirty-minute program will be heard every month on the fourth Monday. 'Community Accents' is broadcast live weekdays at 8:30 am and is repeated at 6:30 pm, on 1490 WLOE, Eden/Reidsville and 1420 WMYN, Madison/Mayodan. Home Savings Bank is the corporate sponsor.
