Bob Webster hosts Bluegrass For Lunch, live every Wednesday afternoon, noon to three, first an hour of traditional gospel music, followed by two hours of straight-ahead bluegrass. Bob features the latest releases with a strong link to the classics from first generation artists. You’ll also hear live interviews with top musicians, along with those up and coming, including authors, recording label personnel and publicists.
Bob has returned home to North Carolina after being a bluegrass broadcaster in Washington, DC for ten years. He is a 2011 graduate of the IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) Leadership Program and currently serves on the IBMA Board of Directors as the Broadcast Media representative. He occasionally writes for Bluegrass Unlimited magazine and emcees at bluegrass festivals around the state.
